What
a piece of s***. I knew when I put it on it was going to be bad, but not this
bad. I wanted something short and easy to watch, and to be fair that’s what I
got, but I paid a price. It was trying so hard to be funny and yet something
just wasn’t on. Perhaps it was for pre- teens who love some easy humour. That
can’t be the case though, as there are serious drug and sexual references, but maybe
I was just an innocent child, as the humour in this is incredibly childish and
yet fairly graphic at the same time. I also like to think I have quite a
childish sense of humour, for example I still count The Hangover, Pineapple
Express and Tropic Thunder as some of my favourite films. This film
just missed the mark completely, it was like someone trying to start a slow
clap and no-one joined in. Kumail Nanjiani I think was the only one to make me
laugh in this whole film, and I don’t even find him particularly funny. It was
disappointing considering Ice Cube did well in the Jump Street films,
Charlie Day is great in Horrible Bosses and Always Sunny, and
Jillian Bell is part of the hilarious Workaholics team. Also, what the
hell was Hendricks doing in this thing? It’s two teachers fighting on the last
day of school, which also happens to be senior prank day. That’s the plot. Don’t
watch this, whatever your age.
