Intriguing
one this. Needed a short, not-too-intense film to watch with a friend after
dinner so picked this because of our mutual love for Shia. Once I had gobbled a
delightful nutty pasta down we settled down to watch one of the greatest sports
stories out there. The first thing that struck me was how similar Gudnason
looks to the famous man he plays (Björn Borg for any readers who don’t know
tennis). I also couldn’t get over how glorious Gudnason's mane was – I wonder if
there is a way to find out how the hair stylist managed it as yours truly once
had hair like that. Enough small talk – on with my opinions. If you like tennis
you will like this film. And if you were around to remember this classic
match-up then you will like it even more. However, the movie itself is pretty
average. I thought the acting was good from Shia and Gudnason, it was filmed well,
and the story was easy to follow. My review doesn’t sound so exhilarating itself,
but that is so it matches the film. There was nothing that made it stand out
and a short, not-too-intense film is exactly what we got.
