My sister and I had some time to kill so we put this on. We had both seen it before but it’s an easy watch. Paul Rudd and Stifler have to do community service so they get given ‘littles’ as part of a Big Brother programme, who are troubled kids Augie (Mintz-Plasse) and Ronnie (Thompson), to look after for 150 hours. It’s full of childish boob jokes and one liners. Occasionally funny but nothing more. Augie is a live action role player (LARP), which means he runs around dressed in medieval gear pretending to fight for an imaginary country over an imaginary realm. The LARPing scenes are probably the highlights, and the ‘whispering eye’ bit. The more I think about it, the more I realise that this is a pretty weak film. If you’re after something that’s funny and easy-to-watch then there are plenty of films out there better than this one. Weak sauce.
