Similar
to day 35, today was a mixture of not having a good film ready to go and
wanting something that was going to be easy to watch. This film was exactly as
I expected it to be. I preferred the book which I read years and years ago when
it was first released. I did think it was fairly good though. Redmayne was
great as always, playing his usual quiet self. I liked the whole exposure to
the American side of the magic world, and to the animal side of the magic
world. We only really used to see magical creatures via Hagrid, and a bit it
the Triwizard Tournament. A surprise appearance of Johnny Depp was exciting, I’ve
always thought he would suit the magical world of acting rather well. Nothing
to write home about but worth a watch if you’re a Potter maniac.
