I wasn’t a big fan of this movie. I only put it on because it’s commonly referred to in popular culture and there is a hit musical based on it. Kevin Costner is average as the bodyguard, it’s a very easy role to play and he fulfils it. Not much else to say. Whitney Houston with the acting of a pop star. Again not much else to say. The music was good if you love Houston’s music. Just an average film really with the only exciting scene being when Houston’s sister in the film reveals all and then gets shot. That scene literally woke me up.
